You sign up, you get the whole course, and you work through it on whatever week you actually have. Nothing unlocks on a schedule and nothing expires. People finish the certificate in three months or in a year, and both are fine.
Take one class if that is all you want. If you go for the certificate, the nine courses run in order and build on each other, and you come out of it trained to actually sit with somebody in the worst week of their life.
It is for the person new to the Word and tired of guessing, for the one who has been in church forty years and is still hungry, and for anybody already carrying a group, a ministry, or a family and wanting to carry it better. No background required, and no one is grading you.
